What we collect
Account email, optional phone number, timezone, goals, schedules, check-in history, SMS and email delivery logs, accountability-buddy name/phone/email if you add one, billing status from Stripe, and consent records when you opt into texts. Sign-in uses a one-time email link. We do not ask for a password.
How we use it
To run your account, send roast reminders, process replies (DONE, ON IT, SNOOZE, SKIP, STOP, HELP), bill you, prevent abuse, and improve the product. If you skip or miss a goal, we may email a buddy you named, and we may text them only after they reply YES to our opt-in.
Who else sees it
We use processors to run the service: Stripe (payments), TextLink (SMS), Amazon SES (email), OpenRouter / xAI Grok (optional roast copy), and our hosting/database providers. They only get what they need to do that job. We do not sell your personal information.
Texts
We only text a number after you check the SMS consent box, or after an accountability buddy replies YES to an opt-in we send them. That consent is stored. Reply STOP and we stop texts to that number. Carriers may still keep delivery records. Do not add a buddy's phone unless they know they may get that opt-in text.
Retention
We keep account, goal, and message logs while the account is open and for a reasonable period after so we can bill, debug, and meet legal duties. You can email us to close an account. Some billing records we have to keep.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information, or to opt out of certain uses. Email [email protected]. We will need to verify it is your account. If you are in the EEA/UK you can also complain to a data protection authority.
